You’re engaged—congrats! You've found the right place to start planning your honeymoon!
Here’s a month-by-month guide to make honeymoon planning a breeze.
12+ Months Before:
Dream big. Start browsing destinations together and figure out what kind of vibe you want: adventurous, relaxing, cultural, or a mix.
Work with your travel advisor (hi, that’s me!) to explore ideas based on your travel style, budget, and seasonality.
9–11 Months Before:
Pick your destination and lock in your travel dates. (I can do my job best when you have a destination in mind!)
Book early for the best rates and availability—especially for luxury resorts, overwater villas, and boutique stays.
Consider whether you’ll use points & miles or pay out of pocket.
6–8 Months Before:
Plan excursions and special experiences: spa days, private dinners, guided tours.
Double-check that your passports are valid for at least 6 months after your return date.
3–5 Months Before:
Begin pre-travel preparations: vaccinations (if necessary), updated TSA info, STEP registration.
Create your honeymoon registry if you’d like guests to contribute to the experience. Ask me how to do this!
1–2 Months Before:
Finalize packing list and shopping for any special outfits or gear.
Reconfirm all bookings and transportation.
2 Weeks Before:
Review your itinerary with your travel advisor. I host a pre-travel call for all my clients where we go over final details.
Pack, relax, and get ready to celebrate!
Your honeymoon should be stress-free and unforgettable—and the right planning timeline can make that happen. I know how stressful just planning a wedding can be (I'm also a wedding coordinator). Let me take the work out of travel, so you can focus on what really matters.
