Q. Why work with a travel advisor when I can book it myself online?
A travel agent brings expertise and personalization to your trip. We have access to a wide range of options, can provide insider knowledge, and can handle unexpected issues that may arise during your travels. For example, Costo will typically always be the lowest price to travel but their customer service for travel is limited to none.
Q. Does it cost money to work with a travel agent?
This can vary from agent to agent. I do charge a planning fee. You can read more about this here.
Q. Can I save money by using a travel agent?
Sometimes! We can offer packages from our suppliers that can help save money. There’s also instances where we can provide on board credit or additional amenities for no charge.
Q. What information is helpful to know before reaching out to a travel advisor?
It is helpful to know destination, travel dates, budget, travel style, and group details. It’s okay if you’re not sure about everything- we can discuss further in a consultation.
Q. Do you provide assistance while I'm in destination?
Yes! If you encounter any hiccups on your trip, you can contact me immediately. I will provide you with any needed contact information before you leave.
Q. How confident do you feel with where the company is going?
We will begin in this chapter by dealing with some general quantum mechanical ideas. Some of the statements will be quite precise, others only partially precise.
Q. Do you work with clients outside of the US?
Due to certain laws and policies, I’m unable to sell to those outside of the USA. Although I reside in Maryland, I serve clients virtually nationwide.
Q. How can I pay for my trip?
I will collect your credit card information securely through the client portal. All payments are made directly to the supplier. All prices are subject to change until a deposit has been made.
Q. Do I need to purchase travel insurance?
Choosing an insurance policy is up to you. I’m happy to provide some options for you to review. I do suggest travel insurance to all my clients, but I do not require it.
Q. When can I contact you?
If an emergency arrives, especially in destination, please contact me as soon as possible. For all other administrative tasks, clients can expect to hear from me during weekday business hours.
Q. Will you provide a physical itinerary for my trip?
All my clients have exclusive access to an app that will have their itinerary displayed. This itinerary can be viewed even if you’re “Offline.” If a paper copy is preferred, I’m also happy to send that out.
Q. Can you do payment plans?
Yes! Ask me for more details as these plans can differ from supplier/brand.
Q. What type of travel can you book?
I can really book anything. I will say, that I'm not a Disney expert, so I usually refer out if a client is interested in a Disney destination.
I can also book private travel such as villas, yachts, planes, cars, etc.
